1987 Chevy Silverado Shortbed SWB BLACK Charcoal Interior - all new
Bed Off Restoration on a LOADED Silverado - Power windows, tilt, power locks, 350, 700R4 Overdrive transmission
For all of you serious collectors, the 1987 Fuel Injection trucks are becoming the most desirable of the trucks.
THE 1987 is The LAST YEAR OF THE SQUAREBODY TRUCK THE FIRST YEAR OF THE FUEL INJECTION MOTORS
This one has a brand new GM Crate Motor with 422 miles as of now - new from GM and retains the factory fuel injection set up with a rebuilt throttle body set up.
Just like a 1957 Belair Fuelie, a 1969 Rallysport Z28, or a 1967 Corvette, the 1987 Squarebody is the last of its era.
Plus its an original black truck, not a color change which just makes it that much more desirable.
This one is a restoration on a RUST FREE BLACK Georgia Truck
It has around ~400 miles since completed as well as on the new GM Crate motor.
R10 C10 Squarebody

There are a lot more new odds and ends throughout the truck
If you can't tell from the list there has been a TON spent on this restoration, so it's not cheap! I have almost $25,000 spent not including most of the labor.
Not saying it's a rotisserie restoration, but it's mostly new front to back everything, more like a Frame Up, not Frame Off restoration.
Needs nothing! The only thing not working is the right side gas tank and the cruise control.
Condition Overall the truck is extremely nice, especially given that it is a 30 year old truck. As far as we can tell it has only had this one re paint. Very clean overall but I would not call it a perfect show truck, at least not to win trophy's with. It's more of a driver style restoration with a ton of freshening up, not really a full recent total restoration. The underside has a new gas tank. It is clean underside. The floor and bed pans are very very nice! The engine is a BRAND NEW GM Crate Motor specific for the 1987 Fuel Injection set up, its the model 350. It starts up quick, doesn't smoke of course. It's NOT loud. It's more of a drive it anywhere ride than a high end type show ride. Everything works on the truck except the cruise and the right side auxiliary gas tank and the cigarette lighter. The spring fell off the ashtray door, so I actually have it taped shut. Back up lights, all side marker lights, horns, radio all work. Here are the "picks" I have. The interior is very very nice with basically most everything NEW on the interior. The windshield and side glass are new. The rest of the glass is in very good shape. It does have a few chips here and there and maybe some every so slight paint imperfections, but keep in mind this truck was built and set up to drive and RUN! We repainted the jambs, but again were not trying to make it a show truck. The engine bay has tons of new components, but we didn't make the engine bay "show qualityâ€.
