1987 Chevrolet C10 C/K Pickup Truck Rebuilt 305 V8 Recently Cosmetically Restored 1987 was the end of the line for the square-jawed 3rd generation C/K pickups, and today it's arguably the best year of all to own. This cool regular cab/short bed pickup sports a handsome Blue over Blue color combination, a smooth-running small block V8, and a long list of options, making it a great place to start if you're a fan of the 3rd generation trucks. You're not going to go wrong with a vintage truck like this, everyone loves them. Their popularity is easy to understand when you see one like this, with beautiful blue paint that looks elegant and conservative but not dated. The truck has never been rusty or damaged, and the straight Sheetmetal is an important 1st step with a truck like this. And unlike so many of these trucks, it hasn't been dressed up to be something it's other then a steel cowl hood, no roll bar in the bed, no slammed stance, just a clean, original-looking truck that can still work or now show. All the factory trim remains intact and in great shape, including the bright rub strips along the body, the badges, and chrome bumpers fore and aft (new). The bed doesn't look like it has ever been bashed by heavy loads or grunt work. 1 of the strengths of the 3rd-generation C/K pickups was their ability to be optioned out like luxury cars, and this 1 is no exception. With a wide bench seat, it's comfortable for 2 and will handle 3 in a pinch, restored interior new carpet, door panels, dash panel, gauges etc. This truck comes with the following options, including factory AIR CONDITIONING (needs compressor and service), powered steering, power brakes, cruise control, and a recent AM/FM/CD music system. A complete array of gauges keeps an eye on things under hood and there's a sliding rear window that provides great ventilation without a lot of wind inside the cab. During the truck's 14-year production run, and arguably the most desirable. The regular cab/short bed body, the carbureted 305 cubic inch V8 delivers surprising performance. The engine bay is pretty clean, too, another perk of careful ownership and a healthy climate, and there's evidence of recent maintenance. It starts easily with a snarky rumble from the custom exhaust system, and thanks to the heavy-duty TH400 three gear automatic transmission, this truck cruises effortlessly at highway speeds. It's pretty original underneath but for a truck that's eligible for AACA antique status, well, there's not much to complain about. The handsome chrome Rally wheels are recent and wear fat 235/75/15 white-letter radials. Very clean and ready to enjoy. 82,431 Orig Miles South Jersey Classics 52 Rt 40
