1957 Bel Air, Almost Completely Original Car, 220 Power Pack 283 Four Barrel with Dual Exhausts, 2 Speed Cast Iron Power Glide Transmission. All original with matching numbers.This car is almost complety original right down to the original hub caps and wheels. No Rust. This is a three owner car. It was purchased locally new by an older couple and traded in at a local dealership in the late 60's. A young man was working there who made a deal with the owner to buy this car. It was stored at the dealership and the fellow was making payments on it. He was drafted and went to Vietnam. When he came back the dealership owner signed the title over to him as a thank you for his service. When this fellow passed away a few years ago my friend bought this from the estate.The car has been garage kept its entire life.After my friend bought the car he had it completely gone over which included a professional paint job, bottom is Coronado Gold, the top is India Ivory. The interior was replaced with a top of the line Americian made upholstery kit. New stainless Stock design exaust was installed. New stainless brake lines were installed. The original gas tank was replaced with a stainless tank.Due to clouding the front and rear glass was replaced with original green tint glass. Body mounts were replaced during the paint job. This car has won best in show every time it has been entered in a car show. Now for what is not original equipment that came with the car. The front bumber and grill bar was replaced, for some reason these items were missing when the car was purchased from the estate. Also the rear view mirror.
