I purchased this car a few years ago in Colorado. It was a perfectly kept all original car. First I had the whole interior professionally redone. The carpet, seats, headliner, and door panels are all new material, and the rest of the int trim was repainted. A removable security wood steering wheel was installed. Then the sound system was done at a car audio shop. CD player with bluetooth and auxiliary USB ports. A JL Audio 8" sub and SDX amp were ran into the trunk. two 6x9s were installed on the rear package tray with 1" tweeters and a new 6x9 was installed in the dash under a new hard plastic dash cover. The stereo system sounds incredible and once the trunk was boxed in and carpeted, the 8" sub hits much harder than you would think. Then it was on to the suspension, any part or bushing that was in need of replacing, got it. It has adjustable air suspension in the rear. Now off to the body shop. Color Zone Collision in Colorado took the car in and completely stripped the car down to bare metal, did any body work needed and then repainted the car with a beautiful copper color that is very close to the original color but much sexier. They laid down sweet painted racing stripes and then sprayed the car with a satin shine clear coat. The clear coat has uv protection and can be polished like regular gloss clear. All chrome and stainless was polished and reinstalled. I put on a set of SS Cragar wheels that are larger in the rear. Had the windows tinted and I was ready to cruise. It developed a bad oil leak from the engine and somehow my mechanic talked me into a brand new crate engine. So after all the upgrades (whole new A/C system, oversized cam, high rise manifold, new radiator and hoses, carb rebuild, plugs and wires, HEI ignition distributer upgrade, new battery, headers, finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, alternator, starter, gaskets, thermostat, taking new block to body shop and having them paint it, also having the engine bay painted black while engine was out, trans flush and service, brake pads and brake lines, heater valves, temp and oil pressure switches, choke, pick up assy, all belts, chrome bolts and accessories, etc.) well over $8k was spent. And after the headers, I had to do the exhaust. The engine carries a 100k mile warranty and all the work was done at a Napa certified shop so the work can be warrantied at any Napa shop across the country. As I mentioned the car was raised in Colorado so it is basically rust free. Also, the car has HID headlamps and ballasts on one set of front lights and regular halogen lamps for the other set and can be switched back and forth via the floor brights switch. I have the original manual and actually found the original build sheet in the door (it shows it was delivered to CO). The car and myself moved to South Carolina less than a year ago and has been in a climate controlled garage since. The car has only 61k miles on it and only about 1k on the new engine. The car drives like a dream with super easy power steering and smooth suspension. Transmission shifts real nice and car has plenty of power. A true beauty and gets a lot of looks and compliments. I have well over $30k invested in this car. I would like to get half of that back on the sale but the reserve is set even lower than that. Buyer would be responsible for getting car picked up within 2 weeks of sale. $1k deposit will be due within 24 hours of auction ending and remaining balance due within 3 days via money order, cashiers check or PayPal. I have connections with transport companies and can assist with that.Feel free to call me with any questions you might have at 719-649-306one. Car has clear CO title in my name. Thank you so much for looking.
