Description of 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 |
|
1977 Camaro Z 28 survivor type car California Build Car - L VIN code This is the year GM brought the Z28 back! They did not make 1975 or 1976 Z28's!
Needs nothing but someone to Pay Me and Drive it!
Condition Overall the car is extremely nice, especially given that it is a 40 year old car. As far as we can tell it has only had one re paint. Very clean overall but I would not call it a show car, at least not to win trophy's with. It's more of a driver style car. It has a great look! The engine starts up quick, doesn't smoke. It's NOT loud. It's more of a drive it anywhere ride than a high end type show ride. Everything works on the car even the cigarette lighter. Back up lights, all side marker lights, horns, AM FM 8 track radio all work. Here are the "picks" I have. The paint is older but has good shine and the car is very straight. The interior is very nice but basically most everything is original on the interior except for replacement carpet at some point. The rear package tray seems to be original and shows its age, but its not busted up or cracked up. Easy, inexpensive fix if you desire to replace that. It does have a few chips here and there and maybe some slight paint imperfections, but keep in mind this car was built and set up to drive and RUN and its 40 years old with a lot of originality! As stated earlier, it has had one repaint. A lot of the decals are older too and show their age. It has older Goodyear Eagle GTII tires. Tread is decent and they do not appear to be dry rotted but they are definitely older.
