Description of 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport

I have for sale a 70 Chevelle SS. The car was made in Kansas so it has the famous L on the trim tag. The car was Cortez Sliver with a black top. The car was a bench seat 4 speed car from the factory. It now has buckets seats. The frame has been redone and painted as well as new bushings installed. The car was in the process of a frame off when I got it. 12 bolt rear end. New chrome wheels and tires. Car will need at least quarters-outer & inner wheel houses trunk pan and floor pan. The deck lid is good as well as the doghouse is very useable. The hood is GM cowl induction. I have the correct front and rear sway bars. The engine is a 74 454 with 781 heads. It has a small cam and ran well as stated from previous owner. I stole the carb and intake a while back for another project. Bell housing is missing as well as other things I am sure. I have a new door skin and a door shell for it. The car has rust around the window but I have another roof for a repair. Price is firm I will buy back the engine for $500 that what I gave for it. I will also buy back the wheels and tires if you don't like them for 700. I also have a new rear bumper and pad for the car also. I was going to do this car until I found a L34 car with the build sheet. Call 765 206 0350 Steve I live 1 hour north of Indy. Thanks
  • Just for kicks and giggles there are currently 43 Chevelle hardtops for sale on ebay at this moment that have a buy it now price listed. I added all these asking prices up and it came out to $2.404,000 dollars.-- Leaving an average asking price of $59.900. Apparently these are the goofy things you will do when you are down with the flu.

Ok thanks for the calls, let me clear something up- sorry no pic as of yet of the engine. Will try to add shortly- If you don't want the wheels and tires on the car you may deduct $700- If you don't want the engine you May deduct $500- So the car without wheels and tires and I keep the engine is $7000. hope this helps.
