1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe

1973 Corvette up for auction. Body-on restoration completed 3 years ago with interior and exterior returned to original factory colors (paint code 914, trim code 422). Has been garage-kept ever since and lightly driven, never abused. Paint still looks new. MATCHING NUMBERS 454 big block was fully rebuilt and has about 250 miles since build. Runs great with lots of power!! Very desirable Muncie M-22 4-speed transmission performs flawlessly. Power assist steering, power brakes, factory a/c (upgraded). Padded T-top storage bag, which fits in area behind seats, is included. Has following upgrades that, if desired, could be reverted back to factory original:

** Hooker Competition headers

** 4-core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and aluminum shroud

** Mallory Electronic Ignition

** chrome air breather

** Classic Auto Air Engine Compartment Upgrade Kit (compressor, condenser, VIR eliminator kit, new hoses and fittings, R-134a compatible)

Salvage title is due to previous rear end fiberglass damage. As can be seen in the photos, all has been expertly repaired.

Negatives: Seats were not recovered during restoration. I was and still am o.k. with their condition. However, new owner may desire to have them recovered. Although Classic Auto Air system was installed, the a/c system has not been charged with freon. It currently will not hold a vacuum and I have not troubleshot the system to determine the exact problem. Driver's side window rolls up and down, but is somewhat hard to operate. May need new regulator.
