Description of 1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups CAMEO custom carrier

This is a very complete unmolested cameo. It has the 235 6 cyl. looks to have been rebuilt. 3-sp trans. This was a daily driver until the gen. went bad. and it was removed. and that's where the story begins. One thing leads to another and it sat for awhile. then a while turned into years. years turned into decades. Then it was hit by theives. what's stolen was: hood and fender emblems. int. visors. air cleaner. exterior cab stainless. tire jack and they removed seat frame bolts to take it also. but they were scared off or couldn'tcarry it?? Ok. that said. this truck has tons of potential as the coolest bad ass rat rod look. It's rusty. crusty. crabby. itchy. scratchy and sweaty. Dates: Radiator Harrison 3185642 B-"56" Carb. 7020003 C-7 Starter 1107634 "6" B7 12 V Gen. 1100326 "6" M 13 12 VHeadlights and running lights work. as does the high/low beam switch. Key locks. unlocks doors. glove box and ignition switch. Look at the great patina on steering wheel. Original cameo paint scheme!! I pulled the seat out to show how solid the floor is. Does have some rust on floor as ir goes up to firewall. Notice original red floor mat piece. also headliner. and visor cover! Notice to. the original door panel covers. unique to the cameo for padded inserts. Original jack mount and spring. Put battery in p/u. turned key on-gauges moved. starter turned but solinoid is out. Has new pedals and starter boot. All original LOF glass. great back glass. windshield driver grade. door glass cracked or broke. Removed seat cover and foam. springs in great condition. Windows roll up and down. Doors latch and lock as does glove box. doors feel solid. as do hinges and pockets. Options: 2 int visors. wipers. cig lighter. ashtray. cabin light. exterior door window visors. Still has tire info sticker on glove box. Still has original dash knobs. vents. throttle. choke. wiper. headlight. ign switch. Has all cameo bumpers & parts. ront & rear bumper bars. including spare tire tub.
