Description of 1986 Chevrolet Blazer |
1986 Chevy K5 Blazer for sale. 350 CI. Detroit locker 4x4. 148. xx miles. Truck is black with tan interior. It was orginally brown. but the previous owner painted it black years ago. I'll be as detailed and honest as possible with this truck:Pros:-clean title-solid body-4 inch lift-new tires-new brake pads. shoes. rotors and drums all the way around. new brake lines as well. -new battery (truck starts every time. even in sub zero temps)-new wipers-carburetor cleaned. new plugs and wires. fresh oil change-new fuel pump. fuel filter-just inspected-new tailgate (wiring not completed. inside cover missing)-nice clean rear bumper from Florida-new Flowmaster exhaust (stock manifolds into a single Flowmaster. duals pipes out the side)Cons:-motor runs loud and strong. but its a little smokey when you first start it. doesn't burn any oil though. -gas gauge doesn't work-rear quarters would need to be patched or replaced if you wanted it to be pretty-there's no radio-both doors could use a window lift motor. they're slow. and usually need help-interior missing headliner and some little things (see pics)-the brake pedal pulsates. literally every component has been replaced (pads. rotors. shoes. drums. brake lines and calipers). not sure whats giving it the pulsation. possibly some defective rear drums. they may need to go on a brake lathe or something. -cap has a stress crack in it and a vent slider window missing-the steering is a little loose. the previous owner didn't properly fasten front stabilizer links. Please email me if you have any questions or want some more pictures. A little TLC and she'll be a real looker. Put a plow on it and you've got a great plow truck too. I've lowered the "buy it now" price by $500. and I've lowered the reserve by $600. Thanks for looking! |
