Description of 1951 Chevrolet Other 3100

Very solid. reliable truck with no rust. recent paint and restoration. Bought in decently running condition and all work was done by a highly regarded local shop called "The Service Station". The truck has been gone over from one end to the other and sensible upgrades. restoration parts and slight modifications were done to the truck. The goal was to put a V8 in the truck. and so upgrades were made to the truck to be prepared for this. but that plan never came to light. Receipts totaling approximately $15. 00 will substantiate the work done on the truck. Included in this work are: Remanufactured 235 CI engine. 12 volt battery conversion (including 3 month old Interstate battery). 12V voltage regulator. ingition coil. generator. "Runtz" voltage reducer. motor mounts. water pump. front windshields and rubber. new headliner. door panel frames and panels. arm rests. center dash set. glove door box. heater assembly. re-plumbed brake system. installed front disc brake conversion with master cylinder. full paint job with pin striping and tailgate "Chevrolet". bed wood kit and stain (could use reconditioning). new front and rear bumper. new tailgate. repainted wheels. new speedo head. brake light switch. new rear window seals. replace swing vent glass on both doors. new fuel tank. remanufactured starter. replaced tires. new engine coil. A/C master pack. 3. 55:1 rear axle gears (rebuilt axle). wiring harness. instrument cluster decal kit and dash set. rear shocks. firewall pad and anti-rattle kit with new door channel felts and rubber. The receipts will be sent along with the truck to show all of the work completed during the restoration. This truck runs and drives well. tracks straight and is reliable.
