Description of 1963 Chevrolet C-10 Fleetside Rat Rod |
1963 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside Shortbed Pickup Thank you for taking a look at our 1963 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside Short Bed. This is one sweet C10 that has an excellent patina and fantastic personality. When we found this truck, it had no bed wood and was missing its fenders. Not to mention it was barely running and had a cracked windshield, just to name a few of the issues. Not any more! We've gotten this truck back on the road and ready for you to do with it as you please! To start, we replaced the shocks and springs, lowering the truck 1" in the front and 3" in the rear to give it a great stance. While there, we noticed just how solid the frame of this truck is! We then went through all of the systems, replacing and repairing as needed so that now, everything works great! In our inspection, we decided to do a few things to help it be a reliable truck, or excellent start for someone if they wanted to fully restore it. We replaced the fuel system from the tank to the lines, it's all new! We also replaced the brake pads and serviced the system as needed. Up front, the original Inline 6 engine has been gone through to make it run very well. We've replaced all 4 tires to make it road ready. In the bed, we've installed an oak bed kit. Torching it, to pull out the grain, before sealing everything in linseed oil to protect it from the elements. Inside, the seat has been covered with a new seat cover and we have installed some black carpet for comfort. A new radio has been installed, along with a couple speakers in the kick panels. For functionality, the headlights have been replaced with LEDs so nighttime driving is possible. They also have an added bonus of the "Halo" style daytime running light, which also acts as a turn signal when activated! The frame and systems of the truck are solid and in working order, as is all of the glass. The clutch works great for an classic truck but does have a light flutter when taking off. When we found the truck, it was missing its fenders, so they are brand new. The doors and cab are very solid with minor rust. The rockers are in rough shape and the truck comes with replacements, along with a solid, used, replacement hood if you'd like it! The bed also shows major signs of rust and previous body workbut is solid and functional. If you're looking for a sweet truck to cruise around in, or a C10 to restore, this could be the one! Please take a look at the pictures below and let us know if you have any questions about it! d Terms of Sale
