1963 Chevrolet Impala Convertible Very rare and desirable 1963 Impala convertible. 1 of only 3116 built in Canada. This Impala is in bare steel with zero bondo or hidden surprises under a coat of primer. Sheet Metal. Body: All the sheet metal parts are from Dynacorn. Full floor and all the floor supports. full quarters. re-skinned doors. inner rockers. taillight housings. tail pan. complete upper and lower trunk floors. trunk drop offs. trunk lid. and front fenders. $6500 spent on sheet metal parts only with no labor (200+ hours). Floor supports are fully welded to the floor pan for a smooth seam sealer free look. The drain holes in the floor have also been shaved. Firewall has also been shaved with 10 gauge. Engine: Previously rebuilt 283 V8 with aluminum 2 speed Powerglide. New water pump. fuel pump and motor mounts. Not currently running as there is no fuel tank or engine wiring harness. Frame: -Detailed with gloss black finish -Factory posi-traction with 3:36 gears -New rubber body mounts -New front and rear shocks -New dual exhaust Misc: -Original GM crack/chip free windshield -No side trim -Lots of parts shown in the pictures are included to finish the build Hundreds of detailed photos of the build are available. Title and GM of Canada documentation available. The car will need door gaps and final panel alignment set before paint and body work. I am willing to negotiate delivery to Great Falls. Montana or Vancouver. BC. From there it can then be shipped by an open air hauler to Los Angeles or Phoenix for about $700. It will be your responsibility to confirm shipping prices with the carrier of your choice. The other option is to fly here and rent a one way U-Haul truck and trailer. Bringing this car into the US will require a bill of sale and title documentation (which this car has both). When it goes across the border. US customs will stamp the bill of sale plus the title and then it's free to go. There is no taxes collected at the border. The process takes about 15mins. When you go to register the car in your home state. you'll need to show them the stamped paper work from US customs. If your state requires you to pay a state tax on your purchase. you'll be charged an amount based on the bill of sales value. If deposit is not received within 3 days. sale will be considered void. Balance must be paid within 7 days of end of auction. Payment preferred method is wire transfer. however cashier’s check or money order will also be accepted. Sale will not be completed until payment has cleared. Buyer to pay all shipping costs.
