Description of 1972 Chevrolet Nova Base |
Up for sale is a 1972 Nova with a 307 TH350 auto trans and 10 bolt rear end. Power steering with manual drum brakes. This was a factory AC car. I have every last piece of the AC system. I removed it to clean up the engine bay as it was not functional. It was replaced with a AC delete cover from ground up in CT. The heat is still functional. This was a base model V8 car. Newer paint and partially refreshed interior. Seats have been recovered and a new dash pad has been installed. Original door panels and headliner which are in great shape. Gauges work but the gas gauge has a bad ground. Front end has all new control arm bushings upper and lower, new ball joints upper and lower and the subframe has brand new bushings all around as well. New hard and soft brake lines on the front as well. Tires are brand new. New shocks on front.Brand new engine wiring harness and breaker-less ignition system (petronix points eliminator kit.)Motor was freshened up in the recent past as was the transmission. Transmission has a slow leak from the speedometer housing from a bad o-ring. New power steering pump and new alternator. The cowl hood is an AMD all steel piece. New door weatherstripping and trunk seal. There is a small dent with scratches on the roof from the shipper from when I bought the car. I never had it fixed. Tail panel had been bent at some point with a mediocre repair job in the past. Looks like it may have been tapped in the rear end. I just had the car aligned at the local chevy dealer. That paperwork can be provided upon request. This is a great car that just needs to have the right person to take it to the finish line. This isn't a concours restoration nor is it a $30K car so there are blemishes, dents and leaks around the old girl. Please ask questions before buying. This is a local pickup only with a non-refundable deposit. I strongly encourage any potential buyers to come look at the vehicle before purchase. The car will not be held without a deposit. Unless arrangements are made with me the car will be relisted if arrangements for payment/showing/pickup are not made within the allotted 3 days. Thanks for looking! |
