Description of 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau |
Vintage Motorcars | eBay Template
Vintage Motorcars is very proud to present this stunning, collector quality, 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau with only 357 original miles on the odometer. You hear it all the time in the collector world..... rare, collector, museum quality, investment quality, etc. There are cars out there that fall into that category, but let's face it; those words get thrown around too freely for cars that don't really fall into those categories. This 1977 Monte Carlo with 357 ORIGINAL MILES is the real deal! Because of the miles, and the documented history of this car; this car is rare, a collector, museum quality and investment quality all rolled into one! Most cars that fit those descriptions are priced so ridiculously high that only the 1% elite collectors can afford them. Which is why this Monte Carlo is so special. Not only do you get a documented, rare, museum quality, low mile, investment quality collector car; but you can purchase it for under $20k! This Monte was ordered by Hechler Chevrolet in Richmond, VA, and shipped on 02/17/1977. This car was ordered with 23 factory options, and in a rare Orange Metallic color. Since the car was so striking in appearance; Hechler Chevrolet decided to hang onto the car, and place it inside their showroom until 4/10/1990 when it was finally sold to the first owner, Gordon Waithman, in Beloit, OH. At that time in 1990; Hechler Chevrolet provided an odometer statement showing the odometer reading of 103 miles. Gordon kept the car until 09/01/2004, and then it was sold to the 2nd owner, Dennis Jackson, with an odometer reading of 158. The car is still titled under Dennis Jackson, which makes this a documented 2-owner car. Dennis only put 138 miles on the car, and decided to sell it to a dealership in Florida in 2005. Due to the absolute beauty of the car, and the documented low miles; the dealer placed this car in their showroom, and white-glove handled it like it was a museum piece. Occasionally the dealer would take the car out on nice days, and placed 61 miles on the car. The dealer never titled the car to retain the true "2-owner" status of the history. This is a list of the factory options that were ordered with the car: The base price of the car was $5,297, and the options totaled $2,114 for a grand total with destination charges of $7,603.65. This highly optioned car features a total of 23 added factory options that accounted for almost a 50% increase of the base price!! Highly optioned collectors are great, but only if all the options work properly. On this car.... ALL 23 OPTIONS WORK PROPERLY. Just as you would expect with such a documented low-mileage car. Ladies and Gentlemen... if you are looking for a well-documented collector car without spending a fortune; this is the right car. With the upgraded 350 V8; low documented miles; classic 70's color; and the beautiful sweeping lines of the '77 Monte Carlo... this car will ABSOLUTELY continue to rise in value! Opportunities like this car don't come around often. Contact us TODAY! This site and all advertising information may be updated without notice whenever new information is obtained or provided.
