GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1964 Chevy (titled as GMC) Pickup Truck for purchase. The first generation of C/K series pickups introduced a new body style of light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Gone were the days of the truck just being a bench seat and a flat-bed for the farm. These trucks provided the drive...ability the market was looking for and sales took off. In the collector world, these trucks keep growing in popularity as finding bodies still intact is becoming more and more difficult. The '64 Pickup came out of Oklahoma and has been in Michigan since 2009. According to the owner, the 350 v8 is out of a 1969 Corvette. The engine has aluminum heads, Weiand aluminum intake, and chrome alternator. The Truck runs very well and functions as it should. It has an automatic, column shift transmission. It is equipped with a 373 posi rear end. Other features include: air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, Sony CD player, leather bucket seats, car cover, Kenwood door speakers, nice wood inserts in the bed, dual exhaust and Sun Super Tach. The truck rides on 15" American racing wheels with BFG Goodrich tires mounted on. The truck is dressed in a stunning shade of red metallic and presents very well.
