Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Standard |
Reduced! Added more pic's per request. Drive while you restore! 1969 Camaro. It has a standard inline 6, but it runs good!. Not sure if it's a 230 or 250? It has a 2 speed powerglide, power steering, drums on all around, 10 bolt-non posi, highway gears (probably 308), cruises at 70mph. Suspension is tight, steers straight, brakes good, does not over heat, heater blocked off, stereo not working. Interior is in overall good condition, minus the headliner, and top of rear seat. There are no rips or tears on dash, seats, door panels, or carpet. The bezel gauges (I.e.,): Speedo is prone to sticking/jumping around, but works occasionally. The sensor gauges, I.e., oil, temp, amps, came loose from the bezel, and are not working, wipers also not working. However, signals and gas gauge are working fine. All exterior lights work, dome light works. The body is strait, minus minor ding (lower passenger door), overall paint is good (minor flaws), but good for a daily driver. Could have been blocked better before paint. Gaps aren't perfect, but ok. The Car is rust free. The only rust on the car appears to be surface rust in the trunk, NO holes! Trunk is solid, but ugly! Appears someone went the cheap route and did poor job of repairing the trunk floor. All the frame, shock towers, floors look original and in good condition! CA. tags good till February 2019. Overall, good solid driver that need a little TLC. All you'll need to do is get some rally wheels, throw some rally stripes on, minor paint touch up's, new headliner, add a V8, and have the bezel gauges fixed, and your good to go! PS. You won't find a 69 Camaro in this condition even without and engine for 20k. Please be advise this is listed for sale locally, and will be entertaining offers both in Stateand on Ebay.
