Description of 1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100 Step side 1/2 Ton Pick-up Truck.
I purchased this truck to restore back in Jan 2012.
I have since removed the bed replaced the old rotted wood with new oak and new chrome strips, the tail gate was missing I replaced it and its in perfect condition.
As you can see in the pictures I did a complete brake job all 4 wheels with all new hardware shoes wheel cylinders all 4 new brake lines and front rubber brake hoses, re-built master cylinder brakes are great.
When I purchased this truck the engine was blown, I have since installed a fresh inline 6 cyl new carb, new alternator changed from generator now is 12 volt, new starter needs only the key turned to run. I am including the original numbers matching engine with all the floor push button to activate starter motor complete parts needs overhaul if you wanted to go original.
Truck currently has a smooth shifting 3 speed Saginaw transmission with a hurst linkage shifts up and down gears no grind plenty of power for highway driving.
4 new tires and wheels installed, heater works, head lights hi-beams and low, both tail lights, no turn set up yet.
I wire brushed the entire frame no rust in frame. Cab has a little in both corners have passenger side replacement easy install, the rest of the cab is solid.
The truck runs well and drives great, stops great, driver while you finish restoring.
I must sell to a good home. clear title in hand ready to transfer to the new owner. I hate to part with this truck but I have no choice please bid to win
