Description of 1967 Chevrolet G20 Van Passenger Window Van

Stored 30 years in a barn. Only 59,000 miles. Runs Great! Ask Questions. Rear main seal leaks oil, Parking brake cables are frozen and so no parking brake, stiff steering due to king pin grease zerks do not want to accept grease. The grease in the king pins must have hardened. I have seen this before on king pins on an old pick-up truck that had sat and were not greased. I just used a torch to heat the king pins and soften up the old grease so it would flow again. The king pins on the van do take grease, it is just very hard to get the grease in there. I had to squeeze very hard on my grease gun. I just want any potential owner to know that the van does steer down the road straight but it steers stiff. Small leak in the factory original radiator, Back-up lights do not light. All other lights work, Windshield Washer does not work. The body panels are rusted but the frame is not. No Rust on the frame at all. The rear floor does have a few very small rust holes. No rust holes in the floor under the driver and passenger. This van has a "three on the tree" Column shift. If you do not know what a "three on the tree" is you do not want this van. This van has no Power anything. No power steering, No power brakes. Many new parts: 5 new Hankook tires, New brake shoes, brake wheel cylinders, shock absorber's, U-joints, Complete exhaust, battery, heater and radiator hoses, new Napa lifetime warranty fan belt, new ignition parts, Delco and Blue Streak. New Fram filters and PCV valve. The carburetor was just rebuilt and the engine completely tuned up. This 230 cu. in. 6 cylinder runs like new! At times you can not even tell it is idling. Make sure you ask questions to learn about this rare van. The interior is in Excellent clean condition. Not all beat up like a Cargo van. I have a clean Illinois Title in my name. This van is quite drive-able and can be driven anywhere in the U.S.A. Today! A non-refundable deposit through paypal is required. Bank money transfer only for final payment. The van was just waxed last Summer and the paint now shines! Panels to repair the rust on this van are still available here on Ebay. No Reserve! No shipping. You must arrange to have the van picked up or shipped. Please contact me a.s.a.p. after auction ends and send details on when and how the van is to be picked up.
