This vehicle has just completed a frame off restoration. There is zero rust anywhere, and the black paint on black vinyl is laser straight. All moldings are Original and in excellent condition. The car is a factory 4 speed early production 1969 SS 350. It is not the original motor in the car, but the motor is a 350 period correct 4 bolt main built with a mild cam, fuelie heads with roller rockers, Holley 600 CFM carb, ceramic coated headers, HEI ignition, and so on. It has an 11 inch Mcleod clutch mated to a 4 speed trans and a 10 inch rear axle with 3:08 ratio. It runs strong and is perfectly geared and powered for County route and highway cruise nights to a show. I would approximate the horsepower to be 350-400hp on the engine build. I think that you can see by the pictures that the car is extremely clean and a very nice example. The NJ title reads 41,528 "A" Actual miles, but the brand new GM NOS instrument cluster reads 17 miles and counting since the build completion. This was a nut and bolt restoration just completed a few weeks ago. It has factory original SS wheels/trim rings/center caps. The car was built to an OE type specification and not built as a "Resto-Mod" type of car. It is built as it was in 1969 by the factory. Given the overall paint/body/mechanical condition, this is a perfect candidate to either leave it as it is and enjoy the perfect summer "Cruise Night" reliable Old School Camaro Super Sport, or use it as a perfect foundation for an extreme build in any direction. The hard work on this car is all done and beautiful as is, but if you are looking for a perfect base to build some sort of one off Resto Mod beast, this is an amazingly solid well done example. The interior is mostly original to the car, with a new carpet installed. The miles were low on the car to begin with, and much of the original interior is in good condition and original to the car. Please feel free to inquire with questions and I will answer asap. |
