I'm selling my 1957 Chevrolet Belair 4 door sedan. It's originally from Pike county Kentucky and last driven in 1975. Since 1977, it's been in a pole shed in Illinois until I purchased it several years ago and it's again in storage, going on 41 years now. As you can see by the photos, it's dirty. I purposely didn't want to clean it. I wanted to leave it in the same condition as I found it incaseI sold it to someone who appreciatesit's story/history as I do. After all, it took 41 years to accumulate the dirt! I only vacuumed the floors and cleaned out the trunk. It currently has 94,936 original miles with all its matching numbers driveline. 283 CID V8 engine (T516FC) with 4 BBL (WCFB), 2 speed Powerglide automatic transmission and dual exhaust. It has power steering and non-power brakes. It has electric windshield wiper and still has the glass washer fluid bottle. It has the original two-tone colors, Larkspur Blue & Harbor Blue as well as the two-tone blue/black vinyl interior. I have never attempted to get the engine running, don't even know it the engine is free. It's now 61 years old and by no means is it perfect. The body is in great shape, has all original floors (patch on drivers side), trunk floor and rockers and no broken glass. The interior is complete and in fair-okay shape. I have a clean Kentucky title. Please contact me if you have any questions, 815-353-2764. It's located in McHenry Illinois. Cash only at pick up! I will help load on/in your trailer.
