Description of 1965 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500

This is one of the most unusual trucks I have ever sold. We took this in trade last month on a 1958 Impala. It is a two owner truck and worked the ranches around here all through the 60's and 70's. The original owner bought it as a cab and chassis from Gold Rush Chevrolet in Auburn, California in 1965. He installed the Utility bed that year and used it for a ranch and work truck. The 292 finally died in 1975 so he bought a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and installed the 455 2 barrel engine and the Turbo 400 transmission and all the A/C (missing compressor and bracket) and cruise control and the dash board assembly from that car and almost everything works as it should. It even has the 1970 "Tick Tach" which is a clock and tachometer in one from the Olds. Its worth about $300.00. Note the dash pad isn't cracked. Pretty cool. The body is Super straight and only has a couple of little rust bubbles starting on the right front fender. Otherwise, no rust anywhere. It drives great and has Power Steering and Power Brakes. This could be a great ramp truck or use it the way it is. The utility box has the keys and all the doors lock. All the glass is very good with no cracks. In the bed are another set of wheels and a 4 barrel aluminum intake manifold in case you want more power. The truck has 4.10 rear end and the one in the bed is a 3.90. This was a really good build in it's day and is still very unusual. To see and drive the truck call Bruce or Skyler at 916-652-6852 weekdays from 8:30 to 4:00. We are 15 miles east of Sacramento just off Highway 80 going towards Reno. The title is missing but I do have most all the registration cards. I have a statement of facts showing the truck has been on the ranch for the last 9 years and not on roads. If you are in California, there are $400.00 in back fees to get a clean title and a month to get it. Out of state a Bill of Sale should do it. Or, if you are willing to wait, I will get the title for you. Thanks for looking.
