Description of 1963 Chevrolet Impala Bel Air |
This is a rock-solid original sheetmetal 2 door sedan. A very low option car, factory radio-delete. Original 230-6 cylinder with factory 3 speed column shift with just over 42,000 miles! Rare factory power steering. A true granny car that's never been molested or abused, and is ultra clean both inside and out. Very straight original sheetmetal with one professional basecoat/clearcoat repaint of original code 905 "Laurel Green" with matching green plaid interior. Both bumpers and much of the trim is ORIGINAL and in great shape! This car was undercoated at the dealership when new, and has been well preserved for over 50 years! It's obvious this was a well cared-for car since new. The floors are solid and have NO rust. All glass, dash, door panels, etc. are original. Everything works, and it drives as it should. New clutch and components, new brakes on all 4 corners, New gas shocks, new reproduction bias-ply Firestone redlines, and much more. This car is as clean underneath as on top and gets TONS of attention anywhere it goes! Lowered on factory coils for a killer stance that doesn't scrape or bottom out, and still rides like a full sized classic Chevy should! A set of factory fender skirts also go with the car, and are painted to match. Car is a clean cruiser and shows very, very well. This '63 Bel Air is the perfect SOLID foundation for a 409 clone or LS swap, but is also cool and reliable as it is! I recently took it on a 250 mile trip with absolutely no problems. It cruises down the highway at 70-75 mph without issue or complaint. Take a closer look at this car, it's a clean example of a rarely seen bodystyle in a great original factory color combo. Probably the nicest '63 Bel Air 2 door available anywhere in this price range, and needs nothing but a new home. Clean PA title in hand. Feel free to message me with any questions, I'd be happy to answer them promptly. If you want to stand out from every 67-68-69 Camaro, 70-72 Chevelle, Nova, El Camino, Corvette, and even Impala at the next show or cruise night, this is your car! |
