Description of 1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups

You are bidding on a 53 Chev 3100 1/2 ton short bed pickup. An older restoration . this truck looks and drives very good. The body is straight and solid . the base/clear metallic green paint does have some flaws. right door around the handle there is some cracking (see pics) took up-close pic. right side fenders both have some of the clear coat peeling in a few spots . there is some chips/scratches here and there also. look at the pics the truck looks good but to be show quality it will need some work. Engine is a rebuilt 236 inline 6 cyl. it has new dual single bbl. carbs. on an aluminum intake manifold. Also has aluminum valve cover and side covers. An after market split exhaust manifold and dual pipes gives this truck that 60's sound. The transmission is a Camaro 4 speed and also has a Camaro rear-end. Up front is the I beam axle with a disc brakes. These up grades make for a nice reliable smooth daily driver. Electronics have been upgrades to the 12 volt system. Extras include the spot lights . fog lights . chrome mirrors. LED tail lights. turn signals . heater. Very nice interior. the seat. door panels and headline all match . gauges all look good. doors and windows work well. This truck runs and drives every bit as good as it looks. the nearer 215/70/15" radial tires help make truck a JOY to drive.
