Description of 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air |
1955 Black Chevy Bel Air Hard Top I purchased this 1955 two-door hardtop Bel Air in 1993.So, it has basically been in the Family for almost 25 years! This car had a major makeover starting in 1995, and completed by the end of 2005.It had a complete frame off restoration with front disc brakes installed. It also has a Concept One power steering box, with 2,343 miles. The car is painted black base-coat, clear coat. The paint is flawless and still shines like the day it was painted. I finished the exterior with17” COY Chrome Wheels, front and rear, with recently replaced BF Goodrich tires (225/55ZR17). This car has excellent front and rearchrome bumpers, as well as exterior stainless trim/molding. For the engine and drive train, I purchased a Ram Jet 350 Crate Engine, with a 700-R4 transmission with cruise control and overdrive. It has a Concept One aluminum serpentine system, and a Street & Performance Chrome Fuel Injection Intake Manifold. Finally, it has a Griffin crossflow radiator. The car has a Ciadella red and beige interior with Dakota dash instruments. As you can see from the photos, Interior items included.
David Doyal of Georgia did the majority of work on this fantastic car.His workmanship is well known throughout the country. This vehicle is among the best 1955 Custom Chevys in the country. The car has won numerous awards including 994 out of 1000 points, as well as, best paint for “Driven Tri-Five Chevys” at the Chevy Classic Winter National Car Show. Also, it has received numerous People’s Choice and Best of Show, Best Engine, and Best Paint awards at local car shows. This 1955 Chevy has an impeccable undercarriage which is beautifully painted orange and black. It has polished stainless steel mufflers, tailpipes, and gas tank. The overall car is immaculate, and in super clean condition! But, it’s time for it to go to a new home. This 55 occupies space in my heated and cooled garage since its restoration. If you want a car that scores high points, and one you can actually drive on long trips or to local car shows, this is the car for you.All fluids have been changed (brakes, coolant, and oil) for its new owner. This 1955 Bel Air Two-Door Hard Top rides, drives, and looks like a brand-new car!!!It is located in Tallahassee, Florida.
