Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro X-11 |
1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Numbers matching drivetrain, 350 2bbl, Saginaw 4 Speed Transmission X-11 Trim Code Factory Power Disc Brakes Manual Steering Manual Top All Original Black Bucket Seat Interior, w/ Console This is a true Survivor. Unmolested. All numbers matching, and never painted, ( although there have been some spots repaired over the years). Rust free floors, trunk, rockers, and dash. The entire bottom of the car is covered with the thick, original undercoating. It will need a passenger fender, too rusty to repair. (I have purchased a NOS passenger fender for the car, that is available, but not included). The drivers fender has rust as well, but not nearly as bad, and is repairable. Both doors are fine, as are the hood, and deckild. The drivers side quarter has had patch work done at some stage of the game. It will need some work around the lip, but does not need full quarters. Same goes for the passenger side. This car has been in the same family since '74. It runs and drives great. Single exhaust is quiet. Engine runs very well. Transmission shifts fine, and is silent. The factory linkage is still intact, and has to be put into reverse to get the key out. All lights work, as well as the heater. Wipers do not, (the wiper motor is missing for some reason). All cocktail shakers still in place. I have all of the parts of the original jack, as well as the original A.I.R. pum, tubes, and hoses. I have a pair of NOS top mouldings that go with the car. All of the interior is Original as well. It still looks good for its age, showing only a few defects. Very hard to find a more original car, that has never been wrecked, or even modified. I included a few pics of the car with Rally wheels, just to ditch the hubcaps, but it is being sold with the Original wheels/hubcaps. This car is For Sale locally, and could end without notice. I am not interested in trades. I can deliver for a fee. I have tons of pictures of the car, on the lift as well, and can take more. Feel free to ask. Thanks, and good luck.
