Description of 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 |
1956 chevy 2 door post car. Body is in mint condition for 58 years old. never had any patch panels or qtrs. and floors are great as well. Paint is probably 30 years old but still has a little shine. interior needs it all. front seat was covered years ago and the back seat is original upholstery. It needs door panels and headliner. Stainless trim is beautiful but the bumpers need rechromed. This is a V8 car with a 4 speed and Torq Thrust rims and tires with less than 500 miles. It is like it's been in a time capsule from the 60's!!! Remember the Hot Rods we had back then. this is a perfect example of one. The car needs nothing mechanically. just paint and interior for a show car look. You could drive this car daily while you work on the paint and interior. Both front door glass have cracks but glass is cheap for these cars. I have added pictures of the floors and trunk area. Please note in the rear trunk area by the rear bumper valance a 2 inch strip of rust in the very rear. a common problem but easy fix. This is the only rust out area I have found. I bought this car originally to build a Gasser. but it is just too nice to convert. Instead I bought a Gasser last month to race this year. NO TRADES- I JUST WANT TO SELL IT. THANKS Call me at 828 808 3864 with any questions. On Feb-15-15 at 04:46:49 PST. seller added the following information:I have had many inquires on my reserve and a Buy it Now price. so I added a Buy it Now. If your looking for a 56 with a lot of potential and one that has not been dragged out of field and needs panels and floors replaced then this maybe the one. The motor is a 265 which maybe the original for the car. and I was told it has a Muncie M21 but have not verified that. You won't be disappointed. ask any questions too be sure you are satisfied before the auction ends. |
