Rare 1951 Chevy 5 Window Pickup / Hot Rod / Project Truck This is a Rare 1951 Chevy 5 Window Pickup in progress restoration / build and in need of restoration. Currently a rolling chassis and the bed and cap / front clip is sitting on the frame and comes with with a SBC 350 high performance engine and TH350 trans conversion that is installed. The engine is a running engine with about 19K on it and was removed from a 79 el camino and the following NEW items added to it; New gaskets and seals. oil pump and screen. double row timing chain. chrome T/C cover. chrome fuel pump. aluminum finned polished oil pan. polished performer type intake manifold. aluminum finned valve covers and air cleaner. braided stainless tranny kick down assembly / cable. and stainless headers(no carb). This sale also comes with the following NEW items that have not been installed; valve cover breathers. aluminum water pump pulley and alternator pulley. aluminum finned tranny pan. accell plugs and ignition wires. ball milled wire looms. billet HEI distributor with clear cap and a complete updated wiring harness for the truck. Truck has rust in typical areas. but easily reparable as we have seen and repaired much. much worse. and all the required sheet metal comes with this truck sale. Sale also includes a new chrome tilt steering column. This truck has also just had a new front disc brake conversion. and power steering conversion completed. Comes with front pictured tires / rims and matching rear rims / tires for when the rear end is replaced. Has and original rear end. Comes with the bed and rear fenders(not pictured). no tailgate but we stock tailgates for purchase both new and used. No running boards but we have these for purchase also. This would make a great hot Rod. or original restoration. Purchase this project and do all or some of the work yourself as a great father son project.
