1970 Chevelle SS 454 big block. Here it is. The holy grail year for Chevelles is often said to be 1970 couple this with the biggest best engine of that year. This is a great opportunity to own one of the most desirable and sought after cars for a fraction of the cost. This tribute started out as a clean chevelle v8 car that was transformed into a beautiful Super Sport package. The body is laser straight down each quarter panel. door and fender. The Cranberry metallic paint was buffed to a bright luster with the appropriate bright white Super Sport hood and trunk striping. All the appropriate emblems and tags are in place. Under the real steel cowl induction hood is the monster SS 454 Big Block chevrolet with high performance GM heads. Roller tip rockers. mildly lopey hydralic cam. 10. 1 compression (pump gas friendly) aluminum cast intake with holley 750 carb. The motor was completely serviced and tuned up with new spark plugs. valve cover gaskets. new fluids in the radiator. motor and transmission. You'll love the rumble this car makes at idle and it's crisp throttle response will leave you craving another ride. The exhaust is a NEW 3" flowmaster from front to rear. The automatic 3 speed trans features a shift kit and appropriately matched torque converter. The entire engine and bay is detailed with all the appropriate valve covers. fittings. shroads. badging to look like it rolled off the showroom floor. The wheels are classic Chevrolet rally wheels with beauty rings and center caps. Nice 15" rubber all around. The inside features a pair of clean white bucket seats and white rear bench. The door panels are brand new front and rear. When the door is open you will find all fresh weather stripping and door seals. The dome light works as it should. To bring the dash to modern instrumentation standards. a 6 gauge bright white cluster was installed on black pod that fits nicely in the dash and looks respectable. The classic NOS Automatic horse shoe shifter and console lights up at night along with the gauges. New fresh black carpeting and Vintage heating system were also installed to keep firewall and cabin clutter free. The suspension and is stock and clean. New rear brakes and master cylinder where installed. The frame and rockers are perfect and rust free. the floor pans were replaced as was the quarter panel on the drivers side. All work was done cleanly. The trunk is clean and perfect. This car is a very respectable driver for a very reasonable price. While is looks great it's not perfect. the headliner has a slight sag. chrome shows well but has some where. little stuff you can expect from a driver.
