This is a real California 1955 Chevy Belair Sport coupe,V8 265, automatic trans. All original with Rust Free original body panels, floors and trunk.Complete body original.Frame is solid rust free and has its original factory undercoating underside. Extremely clean and straight body with no waves and nice lines. Minor hood alignment still needed . The paint is rated 9 out of 10 with minor blemishes. Car was painted 14 months ago with almost no body filler used in the body work. No sign of body damage except very small dent in passenger door that was repaired. Exterior paint was changed to Turquoise and Ivory from the original Salmon and Ivory. The original interior floors and trunk have been re sealed and look great. Engine bay is painted and very clean. This 55 spent most of its life in California and then was brought to Oregon were it was stored for 24 years until now. The engine and trans was rebuilt in California Just before it was stored in Oregon and looks to be original. Engine vin # stamped is (0263960 T55 F) Runs and drives very good. Handles like it was originally designed. The original two barrel Carb and generator were recently rebuilt and new front to rear brake light wiring installed. Interior seats will need to be recovered. All frames and door panels were stripped and painted and are ready to recover. Will need headliner and door panels. Have all original door materials and trim and headliner chrome. All original stainless trim that is not already installed is mostly polished and good to excellent condition and wrapped and ready to install. All chrome bumpers and trimare original and have been re chromed and is excellent.Comes with original front bumper push bar with front and rear bumper extensions which are re chromed also. Have original door and side glas, but are in bad shape. Will need new glass and windshield. Have original back tintedglass in good condition. Doors have new rubber seals installed, Trunk and windshield comes with new seals and clips. Original power steering . Head lights, wipers, blower motor, brake lights, signals, work. This is a unmolested original truly rust free 55 in excellent condition.It will not take much to finish to make this a 40-45 k car. They don't come much better then this.
