1979 CORVETTE C3

Up for auction, is my 1979 Corvette. Pictures speak for themselves…Do not have much history on the vehicle due to purchasing it from a family in Oklahoma who’s owner had passed. To the best of their knowledge they were the second owners. The vehicle was in great mechanical shape, but cosmetically needed some freshening up.

I have owned the vehicle since November of 2012. Since, I have replaced much of the interior components. Other new parts yet to be installed such as new chrome windshield corners, seat hinge covers, bullet sill plates, interior panels, weather stripping and various other new parts that will come with the car. Have new stock style smoked T-Tops and a new Single smoked top covering both sides for a custom look. Also included is a vinyl toneau style cover for in the event of rain while on the go.

Midnight Blue metallic (Code 83) paint is approximately 2 ½ years old. As the photos show, the paint is smooth as glass and shines like a mirror… All new badging completes the practically flawless paint work, not a single chip or scratch… New exhaust complete from headers back. Dual Flow Master Mufflers give a nice low rumble. Practically new tires mounted on factory aluminum wheels that polish and present very well …

The engine is a stock 350 that runs strong and smooth, no noise, no smoke, no leaks, no dissapointments! The engine and compartment has yet to be detailed, so you are seeing it at it’s worst.

Recently spent over $5000 dollars on Tune ups, Brakes, rotors, calipers and suspension components. Drives straight and smooth. A new Battery was installed early April of this year.

Now the bad stuff…. Well not too bad… Turn signals don’t work smoothly (Have new parts required to repair). Blower motor doesn’t work, could be just a fuse for all I know.

Air conditioning was removed by previous owner. It would require only purchasing the compressor and mounting bracket in order to restore to stock. All other required components are still on the vehicle.

If a kickin’ stereo is a deal breaker stop reading now… The stereo is stock and sounds like a 40 year old stereo. I do have new dash speakers and grills to replace the stock speakers. I also have a new dash panel with radio insert in the event the next owner would like to install a new stereo and yet have the ability to return to stock.

Has Tilt and Telescoping steering wheel which needs to be repainted. Have color matched OEM spray finishes to refinish the steering column and any other interior areas that may need to be touched up...
