Description of 1978 Chevrolet Camaro |
1978 camaro I purchased from original owner. I have build sheet. dealer invoice. owners manuel. and original registration. This car was well taken care of. No dents. The only rust I have found is a spot about the size of a quarter on lower front corner of passenger door and a spot about the size of a dime on passenger fender. Floors and trunk are solid. This car runs and drives good and is straight and solid. This car has had one reprint aprox 20 years ago and both qtr panels and outer wheelhouse were replaced at that time. Looks good going down the road and turns heads but does have some paint chips and spots where the clear is starting to give up. Car is equipped with original 305 motor turbo 350 transmission. Motor smokes a little on initial start ( typical valve guide seals ) but runs good. I was told transmission was rebuilt aprox 10k miles ago and shifts good. Has recently had a new heater core. heater hoses. blower motor. radiator. alternator. and battery. It has also had new seats. door panels. door pulls/armrest. carpet and headliner replaced. Options are ps. pb. ac ( needs charged ). tilt wheel. cruise controll. am/fm 8 track tape player. and ralley wheels. Tires are Firestone Indy 500 radials that are 90%. Spare tire looks to be new. This car is all there. is overall in good condition. and is unmolested except for the addition of dual exhaust. Would make a great driver. father/son project. restoration. or project of your choice. This car needs very little. I do have the car for sale locally. so I reserve the right to end auction early. Buyer is responsible for arrangement and cost of shipping. A 500 dollar deposit is required within 24 hours and full payment to be made within 72 hours of auction ending. Would prefer you call or email for any questions. No text. |
