Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

This is a spectacular piece of American car history! The car was completely restored from the ground up before we purchased it 9 years ago. a 1957 model with incredibly rare original options of power steering. power brakes. power windows & a fold-out tissue holder. It has a black exterior with new black convertible top and new red & silver interior. This gem is a gorgeous. head-turning parade kind of car that deserves to be shown. driven and cruising with the kids out for ice cream. Following are some other facts about the car and its overall condition. I have put less then 1000 miles on it in the last 9 years and it has been under a cover in a climate controlled garage since I brought it home. I drove the car home myself from the classic car dealership we bought in from in Fresno. That was the longest and most I have driven it. To make it an easier driver for my wife. I ordered a front disc brake and upgraded power steering conversion kit from Classic Chevy. I had a shop carefully remove the original front drum assembly and steering pump and swap them out. I also removed the factory-style wide white walls and wheels. and swapped them as well with some GM rally wheels and TA tires. Of course I kept all of the original parts and stored them with the car in my garage. They will go with the car and can be put back on if the new owner wants to do so. Since restoration. the odometer reads 819 miles. exact mileage of car is unknown. Mechanically. the car runs very well and cruises the freeway like the heavy classic that it is. The car has sat in our garage more then it should and I wish I had the time to drive it more. It has a few minor leaks from what I can see on my garage floor. most likely automatic trans fluid. It's possible a seal or two has dried-out. possibly from lack of use/sitting. The power windows worked slowly when I first tried them years ago but over the years they have stopped. I never put the windows up so I never got that fixed but they will need some attention. The original radio takes forever to warm up but does ultimately come to life and it's very cool as is the fold out tissue dispenser. Overall it's a stunning classic car. I love the car but the time has come to let it go to someone who will drive and appreciate it. I have priced the car fairly. to sell quickly and with room to make it perfect. I have seen them sell between $60-120k. If you are a serious buyer. collector or car enthusiast with the money to purchase it. please make an appointment to come see it. If you wish. you can view and take numbers off the car to check its originality. But please don't waste my time if you are not a serious buyer. ready to take this beautiful piece of car history home.
