***1967 IMPALA CONV. SS (325HP) 396 AUTOMATIC TURBO HYDROMATIC, TRUE NUMBERS MATCHING, RARE 67 IMPALA*** 1967 Impala Super Sport Convertible, Bought New on 12-29-66 from Bud Eyre Chevrolet out of Ridgecrest, Ca by a Gentleman named Max Smith according to the original dealer issued Protect-O-plate plate booklet. This 67 Chevy has spent it's whole life in dry California desert weather, When I say this Chevy is 100% dry and rock solid, That is the truth!!! A true well preserved Conv. and easy restoration if that the route you decide to take with it, You could not find a more Rare and perfect California Conv., This is not your average 67 Impala SS Conv., with the following: *396 (6.7L) 325hp with Turbo Hydromatic trans (104k original miles) RUNS AND DRIVES *Super Sport package *Tilt Steering coulmn *Factory seat belts *Cruise control *Factory Power front disc brakes *Air Condition *Power Windows *Power top Exterior: Original paint, body panels and bright work, very small minor dings, Body is amazing for its unrestored age. Rockers, floors, floor braces, trunk floor are all dry and perfect, No soft spots, patches or metal needing to be replaced. All missing parts in pictures have been accounted for, except for the incomplete set of rocker moldings, all else is boxed in the trunk. This 67 Chevy was taken apart for restoration, but never reached that point. Conv. top power top works great, top moves up and down a bit slow, but as it should, Canvas top is torn, but glas rear window is still attached and in place, Brand new Conv. top with new glass rear window is included still boxed up. All glass has been removed and is in great condition, No breaks or chips. I am sure I have left things out, but please refer to the pictures provided and as all questions you may have... Interior: All original interior in bad shape, both front seat have wear and are torn. All interior door panels, rear panels, conv. piston covers and visors are present and in good shape, Center console plastic part is broken, but all else is present and in great condition. All dash components are in place and in great condition. I am sure I have left things out, but please refer to the pictures provided and as all questions you may have... Engine Compartment: 325 hp 396 Big block, true numbers matching and original, never been modified and runs beautifully and smooth, California emissions smog pump has been removed, but is accounted for and boxed in the trunk and complete, all other componenets are in place and in working condition. I am sure I have left things out, but please refer to the pictures provided and as all questions you may have... Trunk: Rock solid perfect trunk floor pan, original jack and all missing body trim and moldings are stored in trunk. I am sure I have left things out, but please refer to the pictures provided and as all questions you may have... Underside/Suspension: Front and rear suspension has been rebuilt from what I can see, Also brake system has been rebuilt and new. I am sure I have left out key things about this car that any potential buyer might have questions about, Please feel free to contact me with any questions. This 67 chevy is a very honest rust free car, I encourage all potential buyers to come and inspect the car in person or have it inspected by 3rd party, There is nothing to hide here, I am honest and do want the buyer to buy something he is not happy with, with that said, if youre looking for an easy, rust free rare convertible classic it gets no better than this one.
