Description of 1951 Chevrolet Other

1951 chevrolet chevy styleline deluxe convertible project. Clear title in my name. Complete with front clip. convertible top frame. trim and bumpers. This car came from the factory as a convertible. This is a restorable 63 year old car that needs work. but finished. these are rare and beautiful cars. The main work required for the body are the floors and quarter panel patches. they are available either from the aftermarket or from a donor 2 or 4 door. The doors open and close smoothly indicating good A pillars and rocker panels. There is an aftermarket mustang II front crossmember with a arms and springs already installed. The steering rack and pinion is missing and so there is no steering. There are no seats. interior. engine or transmission. There may be other pieces missing that I am not aware of. The 1951 and 1952 chevy cars are identical except for the grill. Front sheetmetal and many/ most other parts interchange between the convertible. 2 door and 4 door cars. I have a 1951 4 door car that is mostly complete that I will make available to the winning bidder for any missing parts not available with this car. Buyer will have to remove what he needs. If you have a shipper get the car. I will try to do a complete survey and have one of my employees pull whatever is needed (at his hourly rate which is reasonable). This will add to the final price. but the expense will not be to much. we will talk before I do anything. no worries. Car is sold as is and shipping is the buyers responsibility. I will put good "roller" tires on the car for shipping. I don't mean to be difficult. but If you have not restored an antique car. please don't waste your time or mine. Payment is expected immediately upon the end of the auction. If this car doesn't sell in this auction. I will not make it available again. It is non operational and is a project. If you want it bid on it. reserve is more than fair considering the rarity of this model. When paid for. it can stay in its dry secure storage for up to one month pending pickup. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. but I will help with loading in any way I can. Please be sure to coordinate my schedule with the person picking the car up to minimize difficulties.
