Description of 1936 Chevrolet Other

Offered for sale is this one of a kind 1936 Chevy Coupe. This car is a professionally built ALL STEEL street rod in almost perfect condition. The original car was acquired from a Mom and Pop type car museum in New Mexico. The body and frame were in excellent condition and void of any significant rust or damage (see picture of the car before being rebuilt). The body work was done by the MUSTANGS AND MORE body shop in Yankton. South Dakota where the body was dismantled and separated from the frame. All of the interior wood was removed and replaced with steel. All body parts were sand blasted and all interior or undercarriage surfaces were Rhino-coated. The body and all other body parts were then primed. sanded and blocked until all the doors. fenders and other body parts matched perfectly and were perfectly smooth. NO BONDO OR FIBERGLASS was used anywhere on this car! Any holes (i. e. bumper horns or door handles) were repaired by welding steel patches. The car was then reassembled and shipped to HEINZMAN STREET ROD SHOP in Phillips. Nebraska where the body was removed and the frame and drive train were completely re-done. The frame was sandblasted. painted and equipped with a brand new Chevy High Performance RAM JET 350 crate motor and PHOENIX 700R4 transmission. stainless steel gas tank w/EFI fuel pump. new 9" FORD rear end w/rear coil overs. HEIDT'S SUPER RIDE II front suspension. WILWOOD front and rear power disc brakes. FLAMING RIVER steering column. S&S full length coated headers. BOYD CODDINGHAM JUNK YARD DOG wheels and COOPER tires. The car was reassembled again and shipped back to MUSTANGS AND MORE where it was disassembled and the body and all body parts were painted individually. Each part received 7 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear coat. The car was then assembled for the final time and ALL REPLACEMENT PARTS used during the final assembly were BRAND NEW right down to the nuts and bolts including the radiator. glass. wiring and electrical parts. power steering. air conditioner and trim pieces. After final assembly was completed at the body shop. the car was sent to the RECOVERY ROOM in Plattsmouth. Nebraska where a new interior was installed including a new sound system and 6 disc CD player. Since the car's completion it has won at over 50 car shows in Nebraska. South Dakota. Iowa and Arizona including KOOL DEADWOOD NITES in Deadwood. South Dakota and THE HOT ROD SUPER NATIONALS in Lincoln. Nebraska. A car cover. all spare parts. all receipts and build pictures will go with the car. The opening bid and the reserve are both set at $102. 38. 75 (which is exactly 50% of my cost to build this car). The car is now located in Scottsdale. Arizona and I would be happy to show it to any interested parties. Thanks for looking.
