Awesome 1972 short body Chevy van. Another project I'll never get to so letting it go. Arizona car so very little body rust, a little on the bottom of the passenger door and above a-pillar at the drip rail above driver's door. The rest of the frame and body is solid. Surface rust with a great patina. I was going to keep the patina and rat-rod this vintage van. Almost complete van, all glass is good and 2 new pop-out rear windows will be included. Missing parts I know of are carburetor (I believe it was a quadra-jet) and passenger seat. Interior needs redone, dash is cracked, and will need some work.. Doghouse and cover included. Chevy 350 turns over easily. No keys:( If I find them I will include them. Driver door and slider door will need adjusting, driver door has contacted front fender a little. 4 brand new tires. I flat-towed this all the way from Tucson (drive shaft has been removed for towing but is in the van) with no problems. I am including the tow bar so this van can be flat-towed from here easily, easy roller.Definitely a project but I honestly don't think this is far from a runner. Clear blue Texas title in my name, obviously not currently registered. Mileage is obviously exempt. Please ask any questions, sold strictly as-is, where-is. Happy to provide more pics upon request, and will try to add some more. This is to be considered a project and by no means should you bid if you think you are going to drive this home. Will need to be towed but materials are provided to do that. I need this gone so full payment and pickup expected within 7 days, if there are issues contact me. $500 deposit within 24 hrs PayPal. Your bid is binding so don't mess up my auction. NO RESERVE! I've been getting a lot of questions so I added some photos and will clarify some things. Actually the worst rust spot is the bottom of the passenger side rear door that didn't have glass in it. the bottom of this door has a little rust through. The floors are surprisingly good, a little surface rust. Frame, rocker panels, etc. all look really good.I have all of the glass for this van, no cracks or chips, including the two replacement rear windows pictured, which weren't cheap by themselves. The new tires have some meat on them, and this van has the side door slide extender to clear the rear meats. This is a rare piece for this van and worth some $. I looked all over for duplicates to these 8 spoke wheels and couldn't find them anywhere. In my opinion they are one of the coolest vintage deep dish 8 spoke wheels I've seen and I would love some for my Ford shorty. The inside of the glass has been plasticoated to keep prying eyes out of the van, it was used for storage for awhile. This is easily removed with a razor, and most of it should peel off in sheets. All the fluids look good in this van and the engine rolls over easily. The guy I bought it from in Tucson said he owned it 25+years. He had some trouble with the carburetor in the mid 90's, took the carb off to rebuild it, and never got around to putting it back on.Continue to ask and I'll answer what I can.
