I am selling my 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne, with 43,690 miles on the body. The only reason Impala is in the title, is Ebay didn't seem to recognize the word "Biscayne", when I was trying to find the correct category. It is a 4 door sedan, with mostly original paint. It has always been indoors, or under cover. The paint is old, but still has a decent shine to it. There is a crease on RS rocker, and behind LS headlights. The body and frame,is absolutely rust free. The floor pans, rockers, and trunk floor is solid as well. Original nice paint on dash, no cracks in the steering wheel. Seats have been redone, as well as the headliner. Original spare in the trunk, no visible dry rot, and does not leak. I have had the car for 15 years. Came from Fredricksburg, Texas, was brought up to Ill., for a few years,, where it just sat. My son and I bought it 15 years ago, and commenced to work on it. We pulled out the original 6 cyl., 3 speed, we found a 409 engine, had it bored out .060, and balanced, and all the necessary cleaning the block needed. It has Ross 11:1 forged pistons, all deep groove pulleys, aluminum water pump, Scorpion Roller Rockers, Edlebrock Aluminum heads, Large port GM Aluminum single carb intake, and a 750 Quickfuel double pumper carb. We installed Master pro Power Disc brakes on the front, Centerforce 11" heavy duty clutch, Muncie M20 4 speed transmission. Driveshaft has a billet aluminum Center support, and a heavy duty 1350 U-joint and yoke on the rear, linked to a Ford 9 Inch rear end, with brand new 3:70 gears, and New limited slip Center section. The engine has less than 4000 miles on it, runs VERY STRONG. Good oil pressure. The rebuilt rear end has less than 1000 miles on it. It also has a set of Strange 31 spline axles with 1/2" studs. Dougs Triy ceramic coated headers, connected to 2 1/2" Stainless steel exhaust, exiting thru Stainless steel Magnaflow Mufflers! New Stainless steel Gas tank. 15 X 8 American wheels on the back, with 275/60/15 Goodrich tires on the rear, and yes, they just fit.. Front wheels are actual vintage 5 spoke wheels, I'm not sure of the brand. I put a Brand New Hurst Competition Plus shifter in less that 300 miles ago. Transmission shifts nice and tight, no noises. You can drive this car anywhere, everything works. It was a heater delete car, but has an underdash, dealer installed heater. Autometer gauges, all work fine, and they have a nice blue backlight. Nice Alpine stereo with an amplifier in the trunk. I have lots more pics, but I don't know how to put them in a cloud, and put the link in the description. This car has even more parts installed that I am not listing. Rides very nice, doors shut like new. 409 engines and becoming VERY RARE, here's your chance to own one. Car is located in Hot Springs Village, Ar. 71909. Local pickup only. Feel free to email me with any questions. I'll answer them the best that I can. I know this car inside and out. If you win this car, $500 to be paid down via Paypal within 48 hours, I can hold the car for up to 21 days. Remainder to be paid in cash. Thanks for looking! Note: More additonal items I previously didn't mention. The car has an aluminum radiator with a 2 speed Electric fan. The engine has a Comp 280H Hydraulic cam, which gives it a nice lopey idle. Also installed is an 8 psi Carter Electric fuel pump, controlled thru a dash switch.
