Description of 1976 Chevrolet C-10 C/K10 |
1976 GMC C/K10 High Sierra lifted Short Wide Split Differential $17,400 I purchased this truck from a long time acquaintance who wanted to finish the truck but just did not have the means. I promised him I would do my best to make it the truck it should be and I think it came out great. It took over a year and there were some ups and downs, thrown wrenches and many beers consumed but she’s a beauty. He told me the engine was rebuilt within 5 years but had no paperwork. So I had my mechanic go through everything and let me know what needed work. He confirmed the engine was in great running condition with very good oil pressure, compression and no run-ability problems. He recommended a new transmission so I had that done. He recommended having the rear-end rebuild so I did. The carb had a manual choke that I hated so I had him install a 750 Edelbrock double pumper with electric choke. Sooo much better. The stereo sucked so I spent over a grand on high end speakers, deck and base. I also had a 1000 watt amp I wasn’t using so I had that installed. This is a fantastic running, driving machine. The split differential means you can have just rear tire drive, four wheel drive or just front wheel drive. That’s for those real sticky situations. There aren’t many like this on the market. I have it priced about what I’m in it but feel free to make an offer.
