Description of 1931 Chevrolet Other

This 1931 Chevrolet is fresh out of a garaged storage. You would have a hard time finding another one this nice in this condition. A true time capsule and survivor. The body is very solid with no signs of filler or rot but does have a few dings. The wood in the body is very solid. The doors shut well and there are no rattles when driving. The paint might be original or have 1 very old repaint. It will need a paint job or I would leave it like it is and enjoy the patina. The glass is good. The front windshield does not roll up and down. The door windows do roll up down. The battery must have leaked at some point and someone welded a plate under the battery to keep holding it in. Today the car was driven a total of 50 miles without issue. The car showed charge on the amp gauge. showed oil pressure on the oil gauge and the speedometer and odometer were working also. The water temp and gas gauge do not work. The steering is working well and smooth. The brakes do work well. but they should be checked and possibly adjusted. The mechanical fuel pump needs a diaphragm and is off the motor but is included. The car currently uses a low pressure electric fuel pump. We cleaned out the fuel system and it takes the gas well and drives good. but the idle is not perfect but it does idle. The cooling system still has the honeycomb radiator and I have not seen a coolant leak. It shifts well and the clutch works well also. The engine does not smoke or make odd noises. The interior I believe to be original. The drivers side window crank is broken. but the window does roll up and down. There is no floor mat. The car comes with its transferable registration from Province of Ontario. The car is located in Miami. Florida. Shipping is up the buyer. I can assist with loading or local delivery.
