This Blazer was bought new by my friend in 1976 . It was delivered in Saratoga Silver and the day he received i, it went straight to the body shop and got painted the color you see it today. He wanted the red interior with burgundy outsid, but that wasn’t an option so he made it one ! So I guess it’s orginal paint for this blazer ! The rest of the k5 is original. It has never been exposed to the weather . It runs and drives excellent . I have been daily driving it this summer and it is quite the conversation piece. Everywhere I go someone has a blazer story. It’s really a pleasure to drive. The A/C has been converted to r134 and blows ice cold. The radio is original and sounds like a radio from 1976. The only thing not working is the cruise control. There are a couple stone chips which I took pictures of but other then that the paint is beautiful. The trim shines nice and the bumpers show a little age but are really nice. It has lock out hubs which were added at some point. Originally it wouldn’t of had them. The 4wd works great and it shifts into 4 low very smoothly.
