This 1961 Impala convertible had been stored in an Alberta barn since 1974. Sold new at Fowlie Motors in Calgary, Alberta. It is one of only 1539 built by GM of Canada making it an extremely rare car to come across. These are identical to the US cars with the exception of the VIN and Data tag. The numbers matching 283 with automatic transmission turns over with the key. The lights, horn, heater motor, signal lights work. "California" one piece front and rear bumpers will need repair as the chrome is peeling in some places. The car rolls and steers but the brakes drums have been cut as they were seized from sitting. Original windshield does have a crack near the top. Front fenders, floor pans, rockers, lower rear quarters etc will need rust repair. Trunk is in surprisingly good condition with minimal amount of repair required. Additional photos available upon request. Car can be picked up in Great Falls Montana or can arrange transport with the carrier of your choice.
