Offering my custom 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline for sale to the right buyer. This is one of the best designed cars of the 1940's with it's streamline, swept back rear end. When first put on the market in 1941, the Fleetline model instantly became a hit and it still inspires second glances and crowds whenever I take on the road or downtown. This car features all upgraded mechanicals including: 3.6 liter GM small block V6 engine (from 1982 Olds Cutlass), automatic GM 250 Tranny (just rebuilt with a full year warranty), new power steering gearbox (brand new), power brakes, dual exhaust with glass packed muffler system, tinted windows and a 12 volt battery and electrical system. The engine and power train provide smooth and effortless handling and ride to enjoy for years to come. This custom car is painted light tan on the lower body with a metallic grey top and rear. It sits on 15" wheels and is lowered 2 ½ inches for a dynamic low slung look that gets rave reviews when parked or seen on the road. Additions include rear fender skirts, full chrome trim pieces on the front and rear wheel wells, dummy spots, moon discs and 3 inch white walls. The interior includes seat covers over the original upholstered seats front and rear. I have the copies of the original 1947 Chevrolet Owner's Repair Manual, Owner's User's Manual, and full page print advertising featuring this specific model.I also have the original 1947 California license plates (both front and rear) that came with the car when purchased. I converted to black plates that also will go with the car. This car will only increase in value over time and now is the chance to get it at a great price.
