Description of 1936 Chevrolet Other |
Up for sale is my custom built hot rod (please don't call it a rat). It is a 1946 Chevy body with a 1936 Chevy nose on a professionally-build 2x4 steel frame. The truck has been together for roughly 8 years and has been driven 5,000-8,000 miles. The kinks have all been worked out and the truck has no issues. The truck cruises smoothly on the highway at 70mph and rides better than you would think thanks to the modern triangulated 4-link rear suspension and coil-overs. The body is not perfect and has minor scratches and nicks with one big digger in the driver's side rocker panel thanks to a trailer, but is in GREAT condition overall. I love the truck, and am in no rush to sell but am looking to get something different, so I would be open to trades for late 60's-early 70's MOPAR or Buick/Olds/Pontiac muscle cars. Odd-ball Chevy cars would be accepted, but NO FORDS! Would consider Syclone/Typhoon trades as well. Tastefully modified vehicles welcome, manual transmission preferred. I would not be looking to trade the truck plus cash toward something more expensive, but would accept a lower valued car plus cash. Please don't hesitate to ask for more pictures or for more information. No title for older cars in RI, last registration only. Make an offer, I might say yes!
