Up for auction a great 53' Chevy 3100 5 window that runs and drives great for an original 53' truck. Mostly all original. The engine has been upgraded to the 235 and is fresh and has good power. Very smooth. Trans and shifter operates very smoothly as well. All wiring harnesses/wiring has been replaced and upgraded to 12 volt with new starter and alt. All lighting/electrical system works great. Floor starter still intact. Fuel tank has been replaced new and relocated to the rear under bed. New exhaust. New rubber. Windows roll up and down nicely and vent glass opens smoothly. Does not have original seat. Steering has the usual slack but pretty tight overall. Drives good up to 60 mph or so. Bout as fast as I think these trucks need to be driven in stock form. Frame is solid, and most of body solid. Does have some rust through on the cab. See pics. Some fogging on glass but pretty clear overall and no cracks. Interior has been redone with new headliner, gauges and mat. Doors hinges pretty tight and doors shut good. Tires in good cond.
