This sale is for both the parts car which is a low mileage, Arizona original bought base model Chevelle, no trim on the fenders like the SS. I purchased it to build my real 70 SS which I have had since 2010, had 3 others that I sold to keep this one. Its not the common colors like the ones I had which were red, blue and gold. I loved this unusual color of Gobi Beige with black vinyl top, black strips and black interior with cloth bench seat, column shift heater car. Was lighter then the buckets and console cars and this one was raced earlier in life. Something was dropped on the passenger rear quarter panel by the trunk channel, like a roll of carpet from the shape. It was also hit on that same side by the jamb, I had been looking for NOS quarters but could only find the passenger side. I took the trunk pan off from the spot welds which had some rust from a glued in shaggy rug from the 70's, sat in a farmers field in Buckeye Arizona for years. Only rust in floor is by rear drain plugs mostly in passenger side with just a few pin hole in drivers side. They were still plugged when I got it. Owner passed away and his sister parted it out, friend picked it up for the frame that had some of the SS suspension but let me buy the body shell. 2 years of trying to get back the original frame, he sold it back to me which has the correct part number and date code of Dec 5. Has the "L" code Kansas built car, google it, you will probably see my data tag shown here. Had more of the SS parts but I sold them over the years thinking I would buy it later. Parts car is also Kansas built, I was going to use the front clip, bumpers and trunk pan with drop offs leaving the full tail panel. Great to have a parts car right next to the project, I would love to finish my dream car but have loss most of the use of my hands from brain stem injury. This will be the only time I will list it here and will just sell the parts car for $5K. Parts car is the one listed with vin here because it has a clear title, the SS does not have one. I checked with MVD here and it was out of the system after 20 years and was going to get a bonded title if I built it, will come with a noterized bill of sale from me. Great project to build a pro touring SS like you want. *If your coming in person to pick up the car, I have some doors that I got from a previous buy out that someone was going to repair some rust in the front, your welcome to them along with door glass and some smaller misc things, might have a back seat too. Can Not Ship them in the car if your sending a transporter. If you want to strip the white car here and just take things you need, you can do that as long as you don't make any oil mess. The SS has a regular 10 bolt that is barely on, again due to my hands, front drum brakes were put on well since I didn't put the springs on. Lower control arms are original along with the F-41 front sway bar. Frame was fixed on the drivers side by the control arm mount, very common on these cars and some minor damage to the passenger side front bumper mounting hole. I can store the cars if you need time, up to 6 months to make it out here but must be paid in full. I do have some pics of the car before I took the rear sections off from the spot welds and cut away on the quarters to start replacing it, just email me your request.
