1973 BIG BLOCK CORVETTE ! NUMBERS MATCHING 454/ Auto T-TOP and Factory Loaded!! Z07 Package (W/dual Pin Caliper)and appears to be original factory equipment.. It would be the only Auto Transmission example! You will never find another Project like this one. 63000 ORIGINAL MILESROLLED IT OUT IN THE SUNLIGHT AND HERE ARE THE PHOTOS... This WICKED Beast has been in storage down in Texas for Decades (and now a few years in Washington). It is a Time Capsule with a few minor stress cracks and and a few cobwebs to clear to be ready for someone to drive into the NEW MILLENNIUM! It has a VERY old "INTERNATIONAL SHOW CAR ASSOCIATION" sticker on the Windshield. Maybe they might have some in depth information on this Car. It has a POWERFUL Numbers Matching 454 with an Edelbrock aluminum Intake topped off with a VERY Large Chuck Gulledge (lead designer for Holley) 4 Barrel Double Pumper Carburetor. I Have run a hot switch and run fuel down the Carburetor . It cranks right over and sounds like a SCREAMING T-REX! I don't have any specs on what was done to the engine but You don't take a Carb built and tuned by a MASTER (that cost a minimum of $4000 in today's money )that were the Holy Grail searched out by every NHRA member of any repute and throw it on a bone stock motor. I filled the bowls and cranked it over..454 SCARY Cubic Inches of RAW POWER! Someone had started restoring it at one time. Carpets pulled, Seats loose. Over time it has had the E Brake engaged and won't retract so to move it the 2 Pin Z07 Calipers will have to be tapped off.. I have already loosened the bolts to makes sure it can be done and tightened them back up. Sending a Brand new Electric Fuel Pump with the car and the side pipe covers should anyone decide to change it back to side pipes. Lots of tame C 3'S cheaper on here that you can impress with if you don't lift the Hood..In a few years the opening bid will be MUCH higher.PRE 1974 BIG BLOCK C3's ARE being snapped up all over and you will find them far,FEW AND EXPENSIVE! ..THIS is an original Beast that only one will win,. |
