For your consideration, is a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette. Listing this one for a friend. Equipped with all the usual options, including the "Targa" roof. Unusual and rare Quasar Blue Metallic color shows very nice, and is the original finish from the factory. Of 26,412 Corvettes produced in '90, just 474 or about 2% were finished in this striking blue color! Complimentary Black Leather interior, in good condition. Only 3 owners. Has 129,7++ original miles, many of them highway. Third owner has used VERY little since he purchased it. All options and accessories working. I've recently driven the car, and here's a rundown of the pro's and con's...THE PRO'S--- Engine runs great, starts right up and has great oil pressure. Temp runs good, no overheating. Alternator charges good too. Battery about 1 year old. Automatic transmission shifts great, not soft or mushy. Decent exhaust. Tight, with good Corvette "sound". Good tires. Fronts a little better than the backs. Drives & steers well. Tight front end, drives straight with no bad "manners". Decent shocks. Brakes work very good. Stops straight and true. High pedal. Air conditioning works, but probably could use a recharge soon.THE CON'S--- ABS service light is ON. May need a sensor, as the car hasn't been used much over the past five years. Brakes work very good, with no chatter. Tire pressure sensor needs a reset. Red light on dash is ON, but tires hold air fine. Leather seat on driver side has typical wear as found on this vintage 'Vette. Will need repair. Passenger side seat has a seam split in the center, maybe 3"-4" long. Both seats have pictures of their distress. Worn, cracked outer belt line weather-stripping on both doors. Both doors are pictured. Clear-coat on drives side quarter panel beginning to peal. It's small now, maybe a few inches. Also one small spot on the drivers door, both flaws are pictured. Remainder of car's finish is still good, no stone chips up front, and is a great looking "10 footer". Slight damage on passenger side floor pan. Fiberglass has maybe a 3" or so "ding", behind the jacking point. Looks to maybe have run over some debris at some time in it's life. Not visible unless your looking at ground level. There's a picture of this too. This has been an honest attempt to describe this car. It has a clear title. It's a GREAT driver, with plenty of power and life left in it. Looks real good in this factory blue finish. Roof is dry, no leaking. Other than the wear described above to the seats, the remainder of the black interior is very nice. No cracks on the dash or door panels. Good carpet, with little wear or fade, including the rear section. Good door panels. Plenty of pics of the interior to view, show it's condition best. Doors and hood open and close properly. Decent spare tire. A real good entry level "Vette", or a good price on a "drive-as-you-restore" project. Sold with NO RESERVE, high bidder buys the car! Please use the "contact seller" feature with any questions or for more pics. As mentioned, I'm marketing the car for it's owner and I can contact him with any questions I don't have an answer to. Please allow time for my reply, as I do have a day job...THE DISCLAIMER. As with any used car, there is no expressed or implied warranty on this vehicle. Vehicle is sold AS-IS.
