Sometimes the best muscle car is really a truck. This extremely well done 1972 Chevrolet C10 stepside pickup has the right look, upgrades, performance-built V8, and attitude to be a very mean machine. The red paint has a fantastic presence in the sunlight with a luster that comes from a real investment. In fact, this truck recently completed a two-year restoration, so you're going to find plenty of fresh upgrades. This includes the 20-inch Ridler wheels, flush-mounted taillights,... and aluminum tonneau cover protecting the fresh real wood truck bed. And more than just the upgrades, this C10 has a terrific look that comes from investments that erase any use as a workhorse. What remains is super-straight sheet metal that shows off the sporty look of this stepside truck. If you thought the red paint looked speedy on the outside, then you'll love what it's combined with when you open the door. The houndstooth fabric inserts in the black seats is one of the most iconic pieces from the best Chevy muscle cars around. The door panels, carpeting, and dash feel fresh, and so the whole presentation is quite nice. There are some nice upgrades like the later-model NK4 steering wheel and provisions for an AM/FM/CD stereo. But the piece we think you'll love the most is the sliding rear glass. After all, when combined with the side vent windows, it provides perfect old-school truck breezes and better access to the rumble of the exhaust. Under the hood is where this truck really sizzles. The 350 cubic-inch V8 was rebuilt in 2016 and was bored .40 over. The motor was fortified and enhanced with CNC machined hypereutectic pistons, moly rings, Elgin Performance camshaft, Scorpion roller rockers, Holley fuel pump, and MSD Street Fire distributor. It inhales deeply through a new Holley 650 CFM four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. And it exhales with thunderous authority as the long tube headers feed the custom dual exhaust. This big motor even has all the right supporting components like an Optima red top battery and a new radiator. This big power V8 gets utilized to the fullest thanks to a stout TH350 three-speed automatic that includes a new 2300 RPM stall converter to keep you in the optimal powerband. The investments didn't stop with the motor. The front suspension was freshly rebuilt with Moog components, and the C10's rear control arms are now even more desirable with a thick sway bar added. Plus, new shocks, power steering, new performance tires, and an upgrade to cross-drilled front disc brakes creates an impressive total package. We have a full list documenting over $13k in recent investments to make this pickup such an awesome street machine - so call for all the details. But you already know how awesome this truck is, so don't miss out. Call now!
