Custom 1953 Chevrolet 150. Started off as a 4 door hardtop. Tree damaged the roof in hurricane Irma. So, I turned it into a roadster 2 door. (I have the roof if you want to make a removeable hard top out of it) Has a supposedly rebuilt 1954 235 full pressure engine truck engine from the previous owner, but I don't have any proof of it. With the way it runs, and it holds great oil pressure, so it probably is. It still has the road draft tube, and every time I fill it with gas I also use no lead additive and some marvel mystery oil because I don't know if the head has hardened seats or not. It has a new alternator, rebuilt carb, new distributor and Accel coil, cooling fan with a automatic temp switch, resealed gas tank and cleaned radiator, glass pack muffler. Completely rewired car from headlights to tail lights, new headlights, new front led turn signals, and new rear brake lights housings as well as ignition switch, dimmer, turn signal switch and brake light switch. One year old 12v battery, converted from 6 volt, new voltage reducer on the gas gauge, as well as a 12v sending unit. Speedometer is accurate, verified with an android speedometer app. Custom Faux silver suede interior with Desert Sand color premium carpet.New rear view mirror and side mirror, New glove box with new lock as well as new trunk lock. Has a newer Bluetooth Sony multi-media (plays Pandora, I-hart radio etc..) CD player with power antenna and JVC speakers. It has subwoofer outputs as well. For safety there is 4 new TRW lap seat belts. New front and back bumpers, new dual camber mustang style master cylinder, new adjustable proportioning valve, all new brake lines, 4 new tires with new center caps and beauty rings, new disc brakes in the front and factory drums in the rear with new wheel cylinder. Its a 3 speed transmission manual with a nice tight newer clutch, and the transmission is original to the car with 97,042 miles. Its been lowered 3" in the front with springs and solid aluminum drop blocks in the rear. All of the rust was been cut out and replace with new metal, seam sealed and painted pacific blue and artic white from Eastwood's. (have picture of the car before paint.) Body work is ok, but it was built to be a driver, so, it's not big dog top show quality but small town car show, car and coffee type car show ready, its a very good driver quality, now a rat rod. Some dents have been missed, as well as some grinder marks. Could easily be turned into a show car. Only thing on the car that doesn't work is the horn on the steering column, but there is a button on the dash to make the horn operate and the amp meter isn't hooked up. Steering is pretty good for a 65 year old car, but does have a flat spot that you can feel, it's not noticeable unless you are turning, probably a worn roller in the steering box, didn't bother me enough to fix it. Have a custom water proof car cover that is included in the sale. Clean and clear Florida title in my name, in my hand. It is a very nice cruiser style lead sled, cruising 60-70 mph is ok, but remember they were not designed to drive that fast on the factory engine. She mostly drives 40-60 mph, and does it well.
