Description of 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS

For Sale - 1962 Impala SS. This is a rust free car that lived its life in California then was purchased by a collector in Michigan. then I got the car. The body is laser straight and was refinished in the original color for this SS. The firewall retains the original paint. The Stainless trim is in great shape and is complete. Bumpers are very straight and nice chrome. Wheels and tires are very good shape and running 17 in front and 20 in the rear giving the car a nice rake stance. Car has a later model 454 big block and a 700R4 auto overdrive trans giving this car excellent fuel miles and smooth running on long trips. This is a very nice driver quality car- borderline resto mod with the upgrades to include power disc front brakes. All the upgrades done have enhanced the driveability of this car. The interior is mostly original 1962 and in great shape. It does need a few items fixed in the dash area. I simply left them alone so as to keep the interior original. An easy weekend fix for all that isn't 100%. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction should it sell here.
